Hi there, I'm Sue!

I'm a Graduate Student in Data Sciene at Brown University pursuing research in deep learning (DL) and natural language processing (NLP), with a focus on large language models (LLMs). My current interests center on inference performane evaluation, compositional generalization, interpretability, and understanding failure modes in neural language models.

Previously, I worked as a Marketing Analyst building predictive models and analytics tools in advertising, edtech, and nonprofit sectors. While that work was rewarding, I became increasingly interested in fundamental questions about how AI systems learn and reason. This led me to NLP and DL, where I'm now exploring how transformer-based models handle compositional language structures.

Hi there, I'm Sue!

As a Marketing Analyst, I’m passionate about exploring the intersection of marketing and data science to turn data into meaningful action. With experience across advertising, edtech, and nonprofit sectors, I’ve built marketing models that drive millions in revenue and analytics tools that support thousands of learners. Lately, I’ve been especially curious about social network modeling and personalized advertising—and how data can be used to build more human-centered digital experiences.
